

Kelly B. Routley
B.A., LL.B
Kelly’s law practice is focused primarily in Personal Injury Law with some Insurance Defence Law at Routley & Company Lawyers. He is the principal lawyer, having established Routley & Company in 2007, following years of practice in larger firms.
Born in Biggar, Saskatchewan, Kelly moved to Prince George, BC with his family when he was a young child. Upon graduating from high school, Kelly moved to the Lower Mainland and attended Simon Fraser University, completing a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology in 1993. In addition to participating in Toastmasters, Kelly went on to work with Crown Counsel’s Victim Services and did a practicum with Phil Rankin in criminal law and immigration before entering the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor in Ontario. Looking forward to returning to beautiful British Columbia, he completed his articling year at a well-known, large, downtown Vancouver law firm, before moving to the Fraser Valley to practice at another firm until 2007.
Kelly was Called to the Bar in 1999. After practicing at a full-service firm in Abbotsford from 1999-2007, Kelly branched out on his own to establish Routley & Co. to focus his practice in personal injury law. Kelly is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. He has had successful experiences at all levels of Court in British Columbia, enjoying opportunities to run trials as well as negotiate for his client’s best interests.
Kelly is a very proud father to his son, Max, and his daughter, Sophia, with whom he shares quality time doing fun activities like biking and travelling to the Interior to visit family. He also enjoys running, yoga, skiing, golfing, hiking, and fishing whenever he has the opportunity.
